Nancy K. Kopp Public School Facilities Priority Fund
The KPF was established by the Built to Learn Act and became active for FY 2027, with allocations established under SB 283 during the 2026 Legislative Session. The program will be used to address the most severe issues in a school facility.
Specific eligibility requirements and LEA allocations can be found in the FY 2027 KPF Administrative Procedures Guide.
In FY 2028 and future fiscal years, the KPF will fund the highest need projects in the State of Maryland based upon results of the IAC’s Statewide Facilities Assessment. A separate Administrative Procedures Guide will be published for FY 2028
