MBE Program

Maryland’s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program is administered by the Governor’s Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs (GOSBA). The MBE program was established in 1978 and currently has a statewide aspiration goal of 29% MBE vendor participation on state-funded contracts, including those receiving funds through the IAC’s programs. 

Local Education Agencies are required to provide MBE documentation for the IAC’s contract review process and for quarterly reporting that the IAC compiles and provides to GOSBA.
