The School Safety Grant Program
The School Safety Grant Program (SSGP) is established in Education Article §5-317 and is intended to provide grants to address the need for school security improvements.
FY 2027
On July 16, 2026, the IAC approved the release of FY 2027 SSGP funding and an updated Administrative Procedures Guide. The application period is from July 20, 2026 through September 18, 2026.
FY 2026
On July 17, 2025, the IAC approved the release of FY 2026 SSGP funding.
