At its meeting on June 25, 2020, the IAC voted to delegate authority for 12 months to the Executive Director to approve project extensions to projects funded through the Aging Schools Program, the Healthy School Facility Fund, and the School Safety Grant Program. The members agreed that there may be an increase in requested extensions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and that this delegation of authority would alleviate both administrative work and time constraints for the LEAs.
